Labdien! Man ir 25 gadi un esmu ieguvusi profesionālo bakalaura un maģistra grādu uzņēmējdarbības vadībā. Bet tagad vēlos apgūt kosmetologa specialitāti. Vai man ir nepieciešama medicīniskā izglītība? Ja, jā, tad kāda un kur to var apgūt? Cik ilgi ir jāmācās un vai to ir iespējams apgūt neklātienē? Un tad protams, kur var apgūt labu kosmetologa specialitāti?

    Labdien, Santa! Latvijā ir iespējams apgūt dažādas specialitātes kosmetoloģijā. Kosmetologi palīdz cilvēkiem izskatīties pievilcīgākiem un skaistākiem. Viņi kopj klientu sejas un ķermeņa ādu, matus un nagus. Kosmetologi konsultē klientus ādas un matu kopšanā un kosmētisko līdzekļu lietošanā. Kosmetoloģijas koledžā var apgūt studiju programmu „Estētiskā kosmetoloģija” un, to sekmīgi absolvējot, iegūt pirmā līmeņa profesionālo augstāko izglītību un 4. līmeņa profesionālo kvalifikāciju „Skaistumkopšanas speciālists kosmetoloģijā”. Kosmetoloģijas koledžā minēto programmu ir iespējams apgūt 3 gadu laikā (pilna laika dienas studijās) un 3,5 gadu laikā (nepilna laika dienas studijās vai nepilna laika vakara studijās). Dekoratīvie kosmetologi jeb kosmētiķi ar kosmētiskiem līdzekļiem apslēpj (vai padara mazāk redzamus) dažādus sejas ādas, matu un nagu defektus vai izceļ raksturīgas sejas līnijas, padarot to izteiksmīgu. Viņi klāj uz klienta sejas ādas krēmus, pūderus, grimu, acu plakstiņu ēnas, krāso lūpas, skropstas un uzacis, maina uzacu formu. Kosmētiķi nosaka katram klientam visveiksmīgāko grima, acu ēnu, lūpu krāsas, matu krāsas un griezuma kombināciju atkarībā no tā sejas formas un acu krāsas. Mūsdienās kosmetologi šim nolūkam izmanto arī īpašas datorprogrammas. Kosmētiķa profesiju var apgūt Starptautiskajā CIDESCO Rīgas Kosmētikas skolā (plašāku informāciju var iegūt mājas lapā: www.kosmetikasskola.lv ) un Rīgas Stila un modes profesionālajā vidusskolā (plašāka informācija ir pieejama mājas lapā: www.r34avskola.lv .) Šajās iestādēs minētās specialitātes apguvei uzņem audzēkņus bez medicīniskās izglītības, mācību ilgums ir divi gadi, programmu var apgūt klātienē. Mācību centrā Kolonna arī var apgūt kosmētiķa profesiju rīta un vakara grupās, mācību ilgums - 1048 stundas. Šajā mācību programmā uzņem audzēkņus ar profesionālo vidējo medicīnisko izglītību. Viņi ar īpašu metožu un aparātu palīdzību likvidē lieko apmatojumu, dzimumzīmes, kārpas un vasaras raibumus. Viņi tīra klientu ādu ar losjoniem, pielieto tvaika vannas, parafīna aplikācijas, liek maskas no krēmiem un ziedēm, lai aizkavētu ādas novecošanos, mazinātu grumbas. Kosmetologi masē sejas un kakla ādu. Lai kļūtu par ārstu-kosmetologu jāiegūst augstākā medicīniskā izglītība un jāspecializējas dermatoloģijā.
